【摘要】:Thispracticedefinesdetailedmethodsforthermalqualificationof"TypeB"radioactivematerialspackagesunderTitle10,CodeofFederalRegulations,Part71(10CFR71)intheUnitedStatesor,underInternationalAtomicEnergyAgencyRegulationTS-R-1.Undertheseregulations,packagestransportingwhataredesignatedtobeTypeBquantitiesofradioactivematerialshallbedemonstratedtobecapableofwithstandingasequenceofhypotheticalaccidentswithoutsignificantreleaseofcontents.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Thisstandardisusedtomeasureanddescribetheresponseofmaterials,products,orassembliestoheatandflameundercontrolledconditions,butdoesnotbyitselfincorporateallfactorsrequiredforfirehazardorfireriskassessmentofthematerials,products,orassembliesunderactualfireconditions.
