【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesrequirementsforeightclassesofpetroleumfuelsforenginesandboilersusedinagricultural,domesticandindustrialapplications.NOTEAnnexesA,BandCprovideinformationonfueltypesandapplications,storageandhandling,andpropertiesoffuels.AdditionalinformationonstorageandhandlingisgiveninBS6380.ThisBritishStandarddoesnotprecludelawfuluseofoneclassoffuelinanapplicationdesignedforusewithafuelofanotherclass.However,itisstronglyrecommendedthatonlyclassC1burnerfuelisusedinfluelessdomesticappliances,anditisadvisedthattestsorconsultationwiththeequipmentmanufactureriscarriedoutiffuelistobeusedforotherthanthepurposeforwhichitisclassifiedinthisBritishStandard.
