【摘要】:1.1ThispartofISO899specifiesamethodfordeterminingtheflexuralcreepofplasticsintheformofstandardtestspecimensunderspecifiedconditionssuchasthoseofpretreatment,temperatureandhumidity.Itappliesonlytoasimplefreelysupportedbeamloadedatmid-span(three-point-loadingtest).1.2Themethodissuitableforusewithrigidandsemi-rigidnon-reinforced,filledandfibre-reinforcedplasticsmaterials(seeISO472fordefinitions)intheformofdumb-bell-shapedtestspecimensmouldeddirectlyormachinedfromsheetsormouldedarticles.NOTEThemethodmaybeunsuitableforcertainfibre-reinforcedmaterialsduetodifferencesinfibreorientation.1.3Themethodisintendedtoprovidedataforengineering-designandresearchanddevelopmentpurposes.Dataforengineering-designpurposesrequirestheuseofextensometerstomeasurethegaugelengthofthespecimen.Dataforresearchorquality-controlpurposesmayusethechangeindistancebetweenthegrips(nominalextension).1.4Flexuralcreepmayvarysignificantlywithdifferencesinspecimenpreparationanddimensionsandinthetestenvironment.Thethermalhistoryofthetestspecimencanalsohaveprofoundeffectsonitscreepbehaviour(seeAnnexA).Consequently,whenprecisecomparativeresultsarerequired,thesefactorsmustbecarefullycontrolled.1.5Ifflexural-creeppropertiesaretobeusedforengineering-designpurposes,theplasticsmaterialsshouldbetestedoverabroadrangeofstresses,timesandenvironmentalconditions.1.6Themethodmaynotbesuitablefordeterminingtheflexuralcreepofrigidcellularplastics(attentionisdrawninthisrespecttoISO1209-1,Cellularplastics,rigid—Flexuraltests—Part1:Bendingtest,andISO1209-2,Cellularplastics,rigid—Flexuraltests—Part2:Determinationofflexuralproperties).
