【摘要】:ThisTechnicalReportdescribesthefunctionsthatmaybesupportedbysystemsusingISO/IEC16500.Thesefunctionshavebeenderivedbyanalyzingtherequirementsofanumberofexampleapplicationsfromtheviewpointsofarangeofparticipants,including:contentprovidersIPRholdersserviceprovidersrightscollectionagenciesdeliverysystemprovidersregulatoryauthoritiesend-usersbusinesssupportservicesequipmentmanufacturersfinancialservicesApplications,toolsandfunctionsaredescribedfromabehavioralviewpoint.Thereportdoesnotassumeanytechnicalimplementationforaparticularservice.TheTechnicalReportconsistsofamainbody,andaseriesofAnnexes.ThemainbodyintroducestheconceptofacontourinthecontextofISO/IEC16500andoutlinesitsuseincomplianceandconformancedefinitions.Thebehaviourandparametersofsetsofcorefunctionsandgenerictoolsthatcanbederivedfromthefunctionsarethenpresented.Nineteeenexampleapplicationsareanalysedanddescribedintermsofgenericandapplicationspecificfunctionalities.Themainbodyconcludeswithanintegratedsummarylistingofthefunctionalitiesrequiredbyusersandprovidersofdigitalaudio-visualapplicationsandsystemsorganisedunderasetoffunctionalgroupings.TheUserandMarketRequirementsandthecorrespondingFunctionalRequirementsrequiredfortheIDB(InteractiveDigitalBroadcast)contouraredefinedinAnnexA.SimilarinformationisprovidedinAnnexBfortheEDB(EnhancedDigitalBroadcast)contour.Thisoverallstructureisdesignedtoreadilyincorporatefuturedescriptionsofnewcorefunctions,generictools,sampleapplicationsandadditionalcontours.
